has been hijacked by the flu. It will return when there is no more fever, headache, coughing, sneezing, etc.
Will be back soon. (Hopefully)

Acadian Baptist Center
Otherwise known as camp.
For many years growing up, I went to camp with Stephanie and Dawn and Angie at ABC. We always had such a great time and I have many fond memories of camp.
Most importantly, though, camp is where I first met Jesus. I knew about Him, but didn't know that I could know him personally until I went to camp. I was only seven years old, but I have very vivid memories of that night. I remember walking to the front to talk to a staffer, then telling the other girls in my dorm room about my decision. I also remember the counselor in my room hugging me and pulling me into her lap to talk about what it all meant. Although I didn't really understand it fully until years later, I consider that night to be the start of all things new in my life.
Today my boys left for camp at ABC. Curt has gone for four years, but this is Jack's first year. He was very excited about sleeping at the top of a "bunker bed". Curt loves everything about camp: the horseback riding, swimming and the worship services at night.
I am praying that they have a good time and make good memories. But, most importantly, I want them to know God and learn something new about Him this week.
